Golden Heart prides itself for hiring the best Caregivers!  We invest in our Caregivers and provide the best training and skills to meet our Clients expectations.  Prior to hiring a Caregiver, each potential employee is evaluated to ensure that he/she meets the Golden Heart standard.  This evaluation includes:

  •  All Golden Heart Caregivers must be compassionate and caring
  •  Each Caregiver completes a CARE Series personality assessment to ensure thay are a good fit  for the position
  •  Each Caregiver undergoes a complete FBI background check to include fingerprinting
  •  Each Caregiver undergoes a complete 10-stage drug test 
  •  Each Caregiver complies with the State of Nevada annual training  requirements
  •  Most Caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Personal Care Attendants (PCA).  All Caregiver certifications  are maintained as “Active” and “In Good Standing”
  •  Each Caregiver must have a current certificate in First Aid and CPR
  •  Each Caregiver must have a satisfactory three-year driving record with a valid driver’s  licence, insurance, and  reliable transportation
  •  Each Caregiver must have a Food Handling Certification Card
  •  Each Caregiver must have proof of legal residency
  •  Each Caregiver must pass a current two-step TB screening
  •  Each Caregiver is cleared by a medical professional that certifies their ability to perform the tasks as required by a    Caregiver
Golden Heart is a licensed, bonded, and insured Personal Care Agency.  All Caregivers who work for Golden Heart are employees, not independent contractors.
